Dr. Brandon Lee was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He later moved to Davie, FL where he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry Degree at Nova Southeastern University.
Throughout his career in Optometry he has participated in numerous externships and worked with Ophthalmologists to treat and manage many ocular conditions mostly concentrated in cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and other diseases of the retina. He is skilled in medical eye care, treating ocular infections, dry eye care, fitting regular and specialty contacts, and glasses. He is certified as a Therapeutic Optometrist and as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Lee's specialties include contact lenses and glasses, ocular disease management including diabetes mellitus, cataracts, age related macular degeneration, glaucoma, eye infections and foreign body removal from the front surface of the eye. He also provides multiple treatment plans for those needing treatment for dry eyes or sjogrens related dry eye disease.
Dr. Lee is experienced in specialty contact lens treatments including, soft and hard contact lenses, orthoK, RGP, keratoconus contact lens fittings, and scleral lenses. He can provide orthoK treatment which allows one to not have to wear contacts or glasses during the day and you wear an orthoK lens that act as a retainer for your eyes while you sleep. This often halts the increases in near sightedness and stabilizes the patients vision with little changes in vision over time.
Dr. Brandon Lee also provides myopia management care. Myopia management can slow down the increase in children's near sightedness as they grow older through a thorough treatment plan with specialized contacts for myopia control, orthoK, specialty designed eye glass lenses, or therapeutic eye drops.
Dr. Lee is a recent football fan whose hobbies include an active lifestyle at the gym, traveling with friends and family and snowboarding in the Rockies during winter. He enjoys spending time with his wife who is also an Optometrist, currently she’s teaching him how to golf.
Dr. Lee moved to North Texas in pursuit of expanding his experiences in Optometry and is excited to deliver exceptional eye care to all of his patients.
